For the most expert explorers the Val di Fassa offers a large number of prepared routes (commonly called "ferrate"), which, with the help of suitable equipment (harnesses, ropes, clamps and helmets), allow you to reach even inaccessible places in absolute safety, with techniques that bring you close to real climbing.

Before setting off on this type of outing, as well as being reasonably fit, you will need to have a good knowledge of the area and its climate and weather conditions. We therefore advise that you go to the Alpine Guides who will simply be able to give you useful information, take you to the approaches to the rocks or even accompany you on a real climb, where, once you have reached the summit, the feeling of "mastery" is absolute.
